Rhonda Sider Edgington, an organist who has studied and performed in Germany and the Netherlands
under a Fulbright scholarship, and maintains an active performing career in the US
as well as being a local church musician at Hope Church, will introduce listeners to the breadth and depth
of Dutch organ music. From one of the most famous Dutch composers of all time,
Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck (1562-1621) through the Romantic, to living composers such as Ad Wammes,
who has composed for the TV show Sesame Street, and whose music bears traces of jazz and popular music,
Rhonda will guide concert-goers through these pieces and styles with her knowledgeable and enthusiastic commentary.
